FAQ ABOUT THE RIDE
I HAVEN’T RIDDEN IN THE CITY BEFORE, CAN I STILL JOIN THE RIDE? YES!! #CyclingTheCity rides are geared for newbie riders and those looking to learn new routes around the city. We start off each ride with a short ride briefing describing basic safe cycling practices, how to ride in the city and details of the route. We keep the group of riders small so that our ride marshals can guide you along each step of the way. Remember this is not a race and we keep the pace slow and steady, helping you build confidence and skills. We gear each ride to different fitness levels, but generally the ride are pretty easy, because commuting in the city should be all about having fun and not breaking a sweat.
WHERE DO WE RIDE? Our ride focus mostly on commuter routes in and around the city and suburbs. We also stop off along the way at interesting urban spaces and of course for the compulsory cup of coffee!
